Reason 1: Prompts Built One Detail at a Time

A common workflow is to generate from a short prompt, look at the result, add a detail, and generate again. Each of those rounds is a paid attempt, and a prompt refined over six generations costs six generations.

The fix is to specify the shot fully before the first run. A complete video prompt covers:

  • Camera: position, movement, framing
  • Lens: focal length or the look you expect from it
  • Lighting: source, direction, mood
  • Duration: the exact clip length, since it directly changes the price
  • Style: film genre, color treatment, pacing
  • Sound: dialogue, ambience, or music on models that support native audio

Close with what must not appear: no text, no logos, no watermarks.]

Not every generation needs every block filled to this depth. What matters is that each block is decided before the first run, because every blank one is a decision the model will make for you, and remake differently on the next attempt.
