What can I start a comic from?
Four things: a finished script, a one-line idea, an image, or a video. A script gives you the most control over pacing and dialogue. An idea gets you a first draft in minutes that you then shape. Images and videos are redrawn into panels in the style you pick, so you can turn a photo shoot, a storyboard or a short film into a manga.
How does image to manga work?
Upload one image or a set. Higgsfield redraws them in black and white manga, color manga, comic or webtoon, keeping faces, outfits and composition recognizable. A single image becomes a splash page or a panel; a series becomes a sequence with suggested bubbles you can rewrite. People in your images can be added to the cast so they stay consistent in new panels you generate afterwards.
How does video to manga work?
Upload a clip and choose a style and how dense you want the panels. Higgsfield picks the key moments, frames each one as a panel, and turns the spoken dialogue into lettered bubbles in the language you choose. You get a chapter you can reorder, trim or extend with new panels, and the characters from the video join your cast.
Will my characters look the same in every panel?
Yes. Each character you describe, upload or pull from an image or video gets a fixed look in your cast. That look carries through every panel, every chapter and every style switch. Change a character once and the change applies everywhere.
Can I change one panel without regenerating everything?
Yes. Open any panel to redraw it, reframe the shot, rewrite the dialogue or swap a character. You can also reorder scenes, add a chapter in the middle, or switch the whole book to a different style while keeping the story as it is.
Which styles, formats and languages are available?
Styles: black and white manga, color manga, comic and webtoon. Formats: vertical scroll for phones, pages for print and reading apps, and square for social. Dialogue can be translated and relettered into any major language, with reading direction and fonts matched to the style.
How long can a comic be?
From a single page to a multi-chapter series. You set the number of chapters up front and can add more at any time. Long scripts are split into chapters automatically, and you can move the breaks wherever you like.
Who owns what I make?
You do. Everything you create is yours to publish, print or sell. You are responsible for having the rights to any scripts, images or videos you upload.
How do I export and share?
Export as PDF for print, PNG pages or strips for social and webtoon platforms, or CBZ for comic readers. You can also share a read-only link straight from Higgsfield.
