Seedance 2.5 Pricing: Full Breakdown of Credits, Plans, and Cost per Clip

The same Seedance 2.5 clip costs different amounts depending on where it's generated. Each platform bills the model from its own credit pool, so the price comes down to that platform's credit rate and how much a generation draws. On the cheapest plan that includes the model, a 720p 8 second clip works out between $2.55 and $5.76 across Dreamina, Higgsfield, Runway, OpenArt, and Magnific.

What Determines the Cost of a Seedance Clip?

Four settings move the number on every platform:

  • Resolution. Seedance 2.5 generates at 480p and 720p. On Higgsfield, an 8 second clip at 720p draws 52 credits and the same clip at 480p draws 24, so drafting at the lower resolution roughly doubles what a month of credits covers

  • Clip length. Billed proportionally, though not always smoothly. Some platforms quote per clip, others per second or per 4 second block.

  • Generation mode. Standard, Fast, and Mini tiers carry different rates inside the same model family.

  • Audio and reference inputs. Included by default on some platforms, billed on top on others.

There is also a fifth thing worth knowing before comparing anything: credits are worth different amounts on different platforms. Magnific bills 3,520 credits for the same clip that draws 52 on Higgsfield, and the two land about a dollar apart once converted. Credit counts on their own don't travel well between platforms, so every figure below is converted.

Each cost is measured the same way: 720p, 8 seconds, monthly billing, using the credit rate of the cheapest plan on each platform that includes Seedance 2.5.

The left-hand column matters as much as the other two. These plans are not priced alike: Seedance 2.5 starts at $14 on OpenArt and at $49 on Higgsfield, so the lowest cost per clip and the largest monthly output both come from the most expensive plan in the group. The row is the comparison, not the column.

Volume is set by the size of the credit pool rather than the rate. Runway has the smallest pool at 625 credits alongside the highest rate, which is why it allows 2 clips. Magnific has the largest at 20,000 and a mid-range rate, which puts it at 5. Below a handful of clips a month the rate does most of the work, and past that the pool sets the ceiling.

Seedance 2.5 vs Seedance 2.0: What's the Price Difference?

Four of the five platforms raised the draw for the new model. One lowered it.

The spread is wide enough to change which platform is cheapest. On Seedance 2.0 the four non-Runway platforms sat within 60 cents of each other. On 2.5 they sit within $1.09, and the gap between the lowest and second-lowest rate is now larger than the entire range was before. A budget carried over from 2.0 will be short almost everywhere.

What Does Seedance 2.5 Cost on Dreamina?

Dreamina's entry plan is $19 for 1,575 credits. A 720p 8 second clip on Seedance 2.5 draws 296 credits, which comes to $3.57 and about 5 clips before the pool is spent.

That is a jump of a little over two times against Seedance 2.0, where the same settings draw 136 credits and allow around 11 clips on the same plan. It is the steepest version-to-version increase of the five.

The model family gives some room to manage that. Seedance 2.0 Mini draws 64 credits for the same settings, about $0.77, which makes it the practical choice while a prompt is still being worked out. Moving up the ladder helps less than switching modes does: the top individual plan brings a 2.5 clip to about $2.89, under 20% off the entry rate, since higher tiers here mostly buy a larger pool. What they do add is watermark removal, resolution upscaling, frame rates up to 60 FPS, and lip sync audio generation.

What raises the cost here:

  • Seedance is not available in every region, and availability can change without notice

  • Daily credit limits sit on top of the monthly pool, so a higher tier does not remove them

  • Seedance 2.5 draws more than twice what 2.0 does at identical settings

How Much Is Seedance 2.5 on Higgsfield?

Seedance 2.5 starts on Higgsfield's $49 plan, which carries 1,000 credits. A 720p 8 second clip draws 52 credits, which comes to $2.55 and about 19 clips a month. Cheaper plans below it do not include the model.

On Seedance 2.0 the same clip draws 36 credits, or $1.76, and allows about 27 clips.

Resolution is the one lever that moves the rate meaningfully. The same clip at 480p draws 24 credits instead of 52, or about $1.18, which takes the same plan from 19 clips a month to 41. Drafting at 480p and moving to 720p once a shot is approved is the straightforward way to stretch a month.

Tier movement is slight: the top individual plan brings a 2.5 clip to about $2.24, so upgrading mostly raises the ceiling and leaves the rate close to where it was. The bigger shift comes from the unlimited window, which some plans include and others do not. Where it applies, Seedance 2.5 runs unlimited for a set period, usually 33 days, with a maximum clip length that rises with the tier and with annual billing. How that works out against credits is covered further down. Credit packs and auto-refill are available on any plan for anyone staying on credits.

The pool is not reserved for Seedance. The same credits run 50+ image, video, and audio models, and Seedance runs inside Higgsfield's own tooling rather than as a standalone generator: Cinema Studio handles camera and lens control, and a generation can pull in characters trained through Soul ID or assets built in GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana Pro without leaving the suite.

What raises the cost here:

  • Seedance 2.5 is not on the cheapest plans, so the entry point for the model is $49, above the starting price on the other four platforms

  • Premium models draw the shared pool faster than lower-cost ones, and the same balance covers every model

  • The unlimited window comes with some plans and not others, and clip length limits are tightest on the lower tiers

How Is Seedance 2.5 Priced on Runway?

Runway's entry plan is $15 for 625 credits. A 720p 8 second Seedance 2.5 clip with native audio draws 240 credits, which comes to $5.76 and 2 clips a month.

Runway is the one platform of the five where the new model costs less than the old one: Seedance 2.0 draws 288 credits there, or $6.91. Even after that reduction it remains the highest rate in the group. The draw itself is not the reason. At 240 credits, Seedance 2.5 costs fewer credits here than on Dreamina, OpenArt, or Magnific. What raises the figure is the credit rate on the entry plan.

The spread between entry and top tier is the widest of the five. A 2.5 clip runs about $2.40 on Runway's highest individual plan, roughly 40% of the entry rate, which is another way of saying the entry tier is priced well above the rest of the ladder. It works better as a way to try the platform than to produce on it.

Unlimited generation exists here as well, on the top individual plan only. Inside it, Seedance 2.5 runs at up to 720p and 15 seconds per clip, and longer durations stay on credits.

Credits behave differently here too. Monthly credits do not roll over on the entry and mid tiers, so an unused pool is lost at renewal, while the top individual tier rolls unused credits for one month. Purchased credits sit in a separate balance and do not expire while the account stays active.

What the higher spend buys is the editing layer. Motion Brush, Director Mode, and the timeline give a full pass over a clip after it renders, which is more post-generation control than the other four offer.

What raises the cost here:

  • Highest cost per clip in the group, at more than twice the lowest rate

  • Monthly credits do not roll over except on the top individual tier

  • Unlimited generation sits on the top individual plan, so getting out from under the per clip rate means the most expensive tier

How Many Credits Does Seedance 2.5 Use on OpenArt?

A 720p 8 second Seedance 2.5 clip with audio draws 1,040 credits on OpenArt. The entry plan is $14 for 4,000 credits, which puts the clip at $3.64 and the month at about 3. On Seedance 2.0 the same clip draws 640 credits, or $2.24, and allows about 6.

Credit numbers run large here, which makes the raw figures look unlike Dreamina or Higgsfield even though the dollar cost is closer than it appears. It also makes the plan estimates worth reading carefully: the entry plan advertises around 50 videos, but that count is based on a lighter default model. Three clips is the realistic figure for Seedance 2.5 on the same plan.

The rate improves more than most further up. The top individual plan brings a 2.5 clip to about $2.35, so upgrading here lowers the cost of everything generated rather than only raising the ceiling. Extra credits are available as a recurring add-on from the second tier, at $15 for 5,000 credits, and those roll over rather than resetting.

The route from prompt to clip is short: pick text-to-video or image-to-video, describe the shot, generate, with region-level editing available without switching modes first.

What raises the cost here:

  • Commercial use rights begin on the second tier, so client work cannot run on the entry plan

  • Video features such as lip sync and 4K upscaling bill on top of the base render

  • Extra credits cannot be added on the entry plan, so the only route past the ceiling there is upgrading

  • The unlimited Seedance 2.5 window is attached to the top tier at $240 rather than sold separately

How Does Magnific Bill Seedance 2.5?

Magnific's entry plan is $20 for 20,000 credits. Seedance is billed per 4 seconds, at 1,760 credits per block on Seedance 2.5, so a 720p 8 second clip draws 3,520. That comes to $3.52 and about 5 clips a month. On Seedance 2.0 the block rate is 1,120 credits, so the same clip draws 2,240, or $2.24, and allows about 8.

Billing per block rather than per second changes how length is planned. A 5 second clip rounds up to two blocks and costs the same as an 8 second one, so lengths that sit just over a boundary are the expensive ones.

Magnific publishes per-model rates, which makes the spread inside the Seedance family easy to read in one place. On 2.0 at the entry rate, an 8 second 720p clip costs about $1.88 on Fast, $2.24 on the standard model, and $11.20 at 4K. Same platform, same length, roughly a six times difference driven by mode and resolution alone.

The credit rate is flat across the lower tiers: the entry and mid plans work out to the same cost per credit, and even the top plan only brings a 2.5 clip to about $3.28. Upgrading here buys pool size, not a better rate. Top-ups become available from the mid tier up.

Generation is treated as one stage of a longer pass. The built-in upscaler takes a render up to 4K in the same workspace, and generations can be chained into longer sequences without moving files elsewhere.

What raises the cost here:

  • Billing runs per 4 second block, so clip lengths round up

  • The credit rate barely improves on higher tiers, so volume buys a larger pool rather than a lower price

  • Unlimited generation on the mid tier covers most image models; video stays on credits

What Does a Finished Video Actually Cost?

The rate covers one generation. A 30 second video usually is not one generation. Four different shots mean four approved generations, whatever the maximum clip length allows. At three attempts per approved shot, that is twelve generations, which puts the finished video between $30.60 and $69.12 across these five platforms. Four of the five plans run out of credits before it is finished.

Two things change that ratio. The first is how the model handles corrections. Seedance 2.5 edits at the region level and can re-roll a single shot inside a sequence, so fixing one face or one object does not mean paying for the whole clip again. On a 30 second generation, that is the difference between paying once and paying twice.

The second is how the platform bills iteration at all. Per-generation credits price every attempt the same, whether it is a final take or the fourth version of a shot that is not working yet. An unlimited window removes the per-attempt cost for a fixed period, which changes what iteration costs rather than what a clip costs. For work that is mostly finished shots, the rate is the number to watch. For work that is mostly iteration, the length of an unlimited window matters more than the rate does.

What Is the Cheapest Way to Access Seedance 2.5?

The cheapest route depends on whether the goal is testing a prompt, producing a few clips, or generating steadily.

Free, with limits:

  • Dreamina's free tier grants bonus credits daily, subject to the same daily ceiling that applies on paid plans. Seedance is also not available in every region.

  • OpenArt is running free Seedance 2.5 generation at 480p and 5 seconds through August 16, when the offer ends.

Both are sized for testing prompts rather than producing clips. On Higgsfield and Magnific the entry point is a paid plan, and Runway's free plan grants 125 one-time credits, less than a single Seedance clip costs.

Spending less per generation:

  • Dropping to 480p. Seedance 2.5 generates at 480p and 720p, and the lower setting costs about half. On Higgsfield an 8 second clip draws 24 credits at 480p against 52 at 720p, roughly $1.18 against $2.55, which takes the same plan from 19 clips a month to 41.

  • Switching modes. On Seedance 2.0, Fast and Mini variants carry lower rates than the standard model: Dreamina's 2.0 Mini draws 64 credits against 136 for the standard version. Mode availability on 2.5 varies by platform.

Unlimited access, for sustained iteration:

  • Higgsfield includes an unlimited Seedance 2.5 window at up to 720p on some plans, counted from activation. Where it applies, the window usually runs 33 days, and maximum clip length rises with the tier and with annual billing. Several of those plans also include a separate window on Seedance 2.0 at up to 1080p, lasting 7, 14, or 33 days with a 15 second cap. The cheapest plans are not included.

  • Runway includes unlimited Seedance 2.5 on its top individual plan, capped at 720p and 15 seconds per clip, with longer durations billed on credits.

  • Higgsfield sells shorter windows separately through the Unlimited Models Marketplace.

  • OpenArt attaches a 10 day unlimited Seedance 2.5 window to its top tier at $240 rather than offering it across plans.

One thing to check before generating on Higgsfield: the Unlimited toggle has to be switched on in the model menu. With it off, the generation spends credits as usual even when unlimited access is active.

When Does an Unlimited Window Cost Less Than Credits?

It comes down to how many clips get generated during it. The $49 plan covers 19 clips a month on credits, and failed attempts count against that the same as approved ones. The 30 second video described earlier needs twelve generations, so a month of credits covers about one and a half of those. During an unlimited window the number of attempts stops mattering, and what is left to plan around is clip length and resolution. At two or three finished clips a month with little reworking, credits usually cost less than a window.

Try Seedance 2.5

Got any questions left?

Between $2.55 and $5.76 for a 720p 8 second clip, depending on the platform and the plan. Higgsfield is lowest at $2.55, Runway highest at $5.76.

On most platforms, yes. Seedance 2.5 is a newer generation of the model, with region-level editing and audio generated in the same pass, and four of the five platforms priced it above 2.0. Dreamina went from 136 credits to 296, Higgsfield from 36 to 52, OpenArt from 640 to 1,040, Magnific from 2,240 to 3,520. Runway is the exception and lowered the draw from 288 to 240.

Volume depends on the credit pool, not the rate. Higgsfield's $49 plan allows about 19 clips a month, Dreamina and Magnific about 5, OpenArt 3, Runway 2. On Higgsfield, eligible plans include an unlimited Seedance 2.5 window, usually 33 days, which is the route past a credit pool.

Only in limited form. Dreamina's free tier adds daily bonus credits, and OpenArt is running free Seedance 2.5 generation at 480p and 5 seconds through August 16. On Higgsfield, eligible plans include an unlimited window instead of a free quota.

Each platform sets its own credit value. A clip that draws 52 credits on Higgsfield and 3,520 on Magnific ends up about a dollar apart in cost, so only the converted figure is comparable.
