Long AI videos are made in two ways: a tool assembles a finished multi-minute video from a script, or a creator assembles scenes that are generated 10 to 30 seconds at a time. This guide compares five platforms for long videos on finished video length, consistency across scenes, and cost: InVideo AI, HeyGen, Higgsfield's AI-native creative suite, Synthesia, and LTX Studio.
Generation Length vs Finished Video Length
A long AI video has two different lengths, and pricing pages usually show only one of them. The first is the generation length: how many seconds one model produces in a single run. On current video models that is between a few seconds and 30 seconds. The second is the finished video length: how long the exported file can be once scenes, narration, and music are joined together.
A long video can be built in two ways. The platform can assemble multiple scenes into a finished video for you, or you can generate individual shots and assemble them inside a project. In both cases, the maximum length of one generated shot is different from the length of the finished video, and the second number is the one that matters for this comparison.
The five platforms below were selected because each publishes a finished video length or a monthly minutes allowance on its official pricing page or help center. The comparison is based on those pages as of October 19, 2026 and on the published product descriptions, without first-hand testing of the competitor tools. Each platform is described on the same five points:
- What it makes: the type of long video the tool is built for.
- How the long video is built: a single automated run, or scenes assembled in a project.
- Consistency and edits: how characters and style are kept across scenes, and what it takes to fix one scene.
- Cost and limits: how usage is counted and where the length cap sits.
- What to keep in mind: the trade-off that follows from the format.

1. InVideo AI for Script-to-Video
InVideo AI builds a complete video from a text prompt: the agent writes a script, picks stock footage or generates clips, adds a voiceover, captions, and music, and returns an edit-ready timeline.
- What it makes: narrated videos for YouTube, ads, and social content, built from a prompt or a script.
- How the long video is built: in one automated run, then adjusted in the timeline editor. InVideo's own guide lists no length limit for full-length videos, so the practical cap is the credit balance.
- Consistency and edits: scenes can be swapped or regenerated one at a time in the editor. Generated clips come from third-party models such as Seedance 2.5, and each regeneration spends credits.
- Cost and limits: Basic is $9 per seat per month with 190 credits, Pro is $30 with 1,000 credits, and Ultra is $80 with 3,000 credits. The pricing page estimates about 7 Seedance 2 fast videos for 190 credits. Basic has no access to Seedance 2.5.
- What to keep in mind: a long video made mostly of generated clips uses credits faster than one made from stock footage, so the same plan can cover very different lengths.
2. HeyGen for Presenter Videos
HeyGen makes presenter-led videos: a stock or custom avatar reads a script on camera, and the same video can be translated into other languages with lip sync.
- What it makes: talking-head videos for training, sales, and explainers, with 700+ stock avatars and custom avatars on paid plans.
- How the long video is built: HeyGen can build a multi-scene video from a script or prompt through Video Agent, then open it in AI Studio for scene-by-scene editing. HeyGen projects can run up to 30 minutes on Creator and Pro and 60 minutes on Business.
- Consistency and edits: the same avatar and voice can carry across scenes, and individual scenes can be edited or regenerated without rebuilding the full video.
- Cost and limits: Creator is $29 per month with 600 credits, Pro is $49 with 1,000 credits, and Business is $149 with 1,500 credits plus $20 per extra seat. The prompt-based Video Agent is listed at 20 credits per minute.
- What to keep in mind: HeyGen’s strongest long-form use case remains avatar- and presenter-led content. More cinematic multi-scene workflows are available, and premium avatar, B-roll, and generated-video features draw from the same credit balance.
3. Higgsfield for Episodes and Films
Higgsfield is an AI-native creative suite with 35+ models and tools, and it covers long video on two paths. Faceless Studio and Explainer are how Higgsfield handles the finished episode; Cinema Studio is how it handles the film.
- What it makes: animated narrated episodes of 1 to 5 minutes in Faceless Studio, narrated 2D videos of up to 10 minutes in Explainer, and films assembled as Cinema Studio projects from individual generations of up to 30 seconds.
- How the long video is built: Faceless Studio and Explainer return a complete video with script, voiceover, animation, music, and subtitles in one run; Explainer can also be run through Supercomputer, where an agent takes a brief and returns the finished video. In Cinema Studio each generation runs up to 30 seconds, and the film is the project those generations are assembled in.
- Consistency and edits: Faceless Studio saves the style, narrator voice, and characters in a channel, so new episodes look and sound the same; Explainer keeps characters, palette, and voice consistent through a 10-minute story. Cinema Studio 4.0 takes up to 50 references, continues a clip with Forward and Backward Extend, and fixes a region of a shot with Edit Video without rendering the whole shot again.
- Cost and limits: Starter is $19 per month with 270 credits, Plus is $59 with 1,200 credits, and Ultra is $129 with 3,000 credits. The cost is shown before each generation, and Faceless Studio prices an episode by its length. In Cinema Studio 4.0 a 1080p generation costs 16 credits per second (checked October 2026). Additional generations or alternatives may increase the cost.
- What to keep in mind: an episode from Faceless Studio or Explainer is finished in one run, while a film in Cinema Studio takes as many generations as it has scenes, so the credit cost of a film scales with its length.
4. Synthesia for Training Videos
Synthesia produces presenter-led videos from a script for training, onboarding, and internal communication, and dubs finished videos into other languages.
- What it makes: avatar videos with 125+ stock avatars on Starter and 180+ on Pro, personal avatars, screen recordings, and PowerPoint imports.
- How the long video is built: in one run from a script, scene by scene inside the Synthesia editor. The AI agent Syren builds a video from a description and is capped at 3 minutes per video.
- Consistency and edits: the same avatar and brand kit carry through a video, and edits are made in the script, with the affected scenes rendered again.
- Cost and limits: every plan includes 10 free minutes of video a month. Starter is $29 per month with 1,250 credits, about 12 extra minutes; Pro is $89 with 6,000 credits, about 60 extra minutes; Enterprise removes the minutes limit. Video is metered at 100 credits per minute.
- What to keep in mind: the allowance is counted in minutes of finished video, which makes budgeting predictable, and the same allowance also covers dubbing and surveys.
5. LTX Studio for Storyboarded Films
LTX Studio turns a script or concept into a storyboard of shots, generates each shot, and assembles them in a project with an editing space.
- What it makes: short films, trailers, music videos, and ads built shot by shot, with saved Elements for characters and locations.
- How the long video is built: the script is broken into scenes and shots, each shot is generated, and the sequence is cut in the Timeline. Individual shots run from 3 to 20 seconds depending on the model, and LTX-2.5 supports up to 20-second shots. Multiple shots are combined in the Timeline to create longer films, and the project itself has no published length cap.
- Consistency and edits: Elements keep a character or location consistent across shots on Standard and above, and a single shot can be regenerated without touching the rest of the sequence.
- Cost and limits: Lite is $15 per month with 8,000 credits for personal use, Standard is $35 with 28,000 credits and a commercial license, and Pro is $125 with 110,000 credits and 3 collaborators per project. Free gives 800 credits once.
- What to keep in mind: a commercial license starts at Standard, and the credit cost of a film grows with the number of shots and the resolution chosen.
What a Long AI Film Looks Like in Practice
Multi-minute AI films are already being made as projects of scenes, and Higgsfield’s community shows what that looks like at scale. The Higgsfield Global Film Festival has a $1,000,000 prize pool for films of at least 3 minutes made entirely on Higgsfield.
Entries are created as Cinema Studio projects. After the submission deadline they become Open Projects, so the prompts, references, and assembly of each film can be viewed by anyone.
The same format applies to Higgsfield Originals, the company’s own films. Hell Grind, a 95-minute feature made entirely on Higgsfield, was shown at the Cannes Film Market in May 2026. In August 2026 it was released as an open project with every prompt and asset included, and Zephyr and Mork were opened the same way.
Together with festival entries, these projects are available in Community under Open Projects. They show the full path from first scene to finished film.
How Much a Finished Long Video Costs
The five platforms count usage in different units, so their plans are not directly comparable. The useful comparison is how each unit maps to minutes of finished video.
What a 3-minute video costs
Platform | 3-minute cost or usage | Voice included? | What can increase it |
|---|---|---|---|
InVideo AI | Varies with stock vs generated footage and the models used; Basic’s 190 credits are estimated at about 7 Seedance 2 fast videos | Yes, AI voiceover | Generated clips, premium models, regenerated scenes |
HeyGen | About 60 credits through Video Agent at 20 credits per minute; avatar videos in HeyGen Studio are metered separately | Yes, avatar speech | Premium avatars, B-roll, generated video, rerenders |
Higgsfield, Faceless Studio or Explainer | An episode is priced by its length and the cost is shown before generation; a 3-minute episode fits inside both tools’ limits | Yes, narrator voice | Additional generations or alternatives |
Higgsfield, Cinema Studio 4.0 | Generation-only floor of 2,880 credits for six 30-second 1080p generations at 16 credits per second | Not described on the pricing page | Shorter shots, alternate takes, regenerated scenes |
Synthesia | 300 credits at 100 credits per minute, within the 10 free minutes every plan includes | Yes, avatar speech | Dubbing, surveys, rerendered scenes |
LTX Studio | Varies with the number of shots, model, and resolution | Not described on the pricing page | More shots, higher resolution, alternate takes |
- Minutes of finished video: Synthesia meters at 100 credits per minute, so Starter covers about 22 minutes a month including the free allowance and Pro about 70. HeyGen’s Video Agent is listed at 20 credits per minute, so Creator’s 600 credits cover about 30 agent minutes a month across one or several videos; avatar videos in HeyGen Studio are metered separately.
- Credits per generation: InVideo AI, LTX Studio, and Higgsfield spend credits on each generated clip, and the number of clips in a long video depends on the number of scenes and on how many alternatives are generated for each one.
- One-run episodes: Faceless Studio prices an episode by its length, and Explainer returns a complete video up to 10 minutes in one run, so the cost of an episode is known before it is generated.
- Films from scenes: as a generation-only floor, six 30-second 1080p generations in Cinema Studio 4.0 would total 2,880 credits, which fits within the 3,000 credits of the Ultra plan. A real 3-minute film may require more, because shorter shots, alternate takes, and regenerated scenes add generations.
Credit figures checked on October 19, 2026 and may change. Additional generations or alternatives may increase the cost on every platform in this list.
Which Format to Choose
- A presenter reading a script: HeyGen or Synthesia. Both support long, multi-scene presenter videos while keeping the same avatar and voice across scenes, and both publish a minutes-based limit.
- A narrated video assembled from footage: InVideo AI for stock-based assembly, or Higgsfield Faceless Studio and Explainer for animated episodes with a saved style and voice.
- A film with different scenes, characters, and locations: LTX Studio or Higgsfield Cinema Studio. The film is a project of short generations, and its length is set by the number of scenes.
For a creator who makes more than one kind of long video, the second and third options sit in the same account on Higgsfield. An episode from Explainer, a series from Faceless Studio, and a film from Cinema Studio share characters, references, and the credit balance.
The finished film can be published as an Open Project in Community. This is what the Higgsfield AI-native creative suite means in practice: the long-form stage shares an account, a library, and a credit balance with the stages before it.
