Sub-Workspaces

Create separate workspaces for teams, brands or regions under one contract.

Each sub-workspace has its own members, assets and credit allocation from the main pool. The main workspace keeps visibility into its usage, assets and members.

Not sure whether you need a group or a separate workspace? See User Groups & Sub-Workspaces.

Read the credit pool

Manage Account → Sub-workspaces shows Credit pool, Allocated credits and Available to allocate. The list shows Credits left / Allocated, Next allocation date (a dash means one-time) and Status.

Creating a sub-workspace

  1. Open Manage Account → Sub-workspaces → Add sub-workspace.
  2. Enter the name (and a logo).
  3. Set Credit allocation and Allocation period: One-time allocation, Daily allocation, Each week or Each month. For a recurring allocation, set the duration and check the end date.
  4. Assign an existing Higgsfield user as owner. You can choose yourself.
  5. Click Add sub-workspace.
  6. Members are invited separately inside the new workspace.

Allocation cycles

Unused allocated credits roll over - they stay on the sub-workspace balance until spent or withdrawn. Group limits reset instead. Contract pricing applies exactly as in the main workspace.

Moving credits in and out

Open the sub-workspace's ⋯ → Manage allocation:

  • Credit allocation → change the amount or period → Save changes.
  • One-time top up → choose an amount (5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000) → Top-up credits.
  • Withdraw credits → returns the unused balance to the main pool. Cancel withdrawal stops it before it applies.

Also in ⋯: See members (view or edit the member list, then Save changes) and Delete (removes the sub-workspace and returns unused credits to the pool).

Credit requests from a sub-workspace

  1. In the sub-workspace, the Owner or an Admin with Request credits opens Manage Account → Request credits, enters an amount and a comment.
  2. The main workspace Owner and Admins with Approve and withdraw sub-workspace credits get a bell notification and an email → Approve or Reject. Requests are also listed under Organization → Credit requests to approve.
  3. Approved credits arrive immediately. The requester is notified either way.

Who can manage credits

  • Main workspace Owner - allocate, top up, withdraw, approve or reject.
  • Admin with Approve and withdraw sub-workspace credits - withdraw, approve or reject.
  • Admin with Manage sub-workspace members - add or remove members.
  • Sub-workspace Owner, or Admin with Request credits - request more.

What's shared and what's isolated

  • Assets - Assets → Sub-workspaces → Open to browse a sub-workspace's output without joining it.
  • Members - each sub-workspace has its own owner and member list.
  • Usage - the sub-workspace sees its own; the main workspace sees all of them in Usage → Team usage.
  • Credits - allocated from the pool; Withdraw credits returns them, Request credits asks for more.
