Big Purple Project is a Türkiye-based production studio behind commercials for Red Bull, Vodafone, Migros and Halkbank. Its AI arm, Dreaming Broccoli, produces AI films under the studio's "Revision-Proof" model.

The challenge

Founded in Türkiye, Big Purple Project has produced commercials for Red Bull, Vodafone, Migros, and Halkbank. Its traditional productions involved coordinating talent agencies, transporting wardrobe, scouting locations, and planning around unpredictable weather. The studio estimated the traditional route for Türkiye Wealth Fund’s 10th-anniversary film at around 30 days of pre-production, 5 days of shooting, and 20 days of post-production.

Their client, Türkiye Wealth Fund, is Türkiye’s sovereign wealth fund. Its portfolio covers more than 30 companies across seven sectors, including Ziraat Bank, Türk Telekom and a 49% stake in Turkish Airlines.

The idea

Big Purple kept the same five creative stages it has always worked in: casting, wardrobe selection, location selection, storyboarding, and shooting. What changed was execution. The team believes convincing performances depend on small human details, such as a pause, a breath, or a moment of hesitation before a glance.

How it was built

Higgsfield entered Big Purple’s workflow gradually, and with some skepticism from the traditional-production side. At first the team used it only for a few wide shots that would have been difficult to produce otherwise. One commercial needed a moving aerial view of an Istanbul neighbourhood as it looked in the 1950s, and all the team had was a very old photograph. The team was surprised by what AI could deliver, given the time and cost a full 3D reconstruction would have required.

“What began as ‘We can make this difficult shot here’ gradually became ‘We could actually make the whole film here.’”

The studio kept its established approach to creative preparation. Pre-production presentations that once covered studio walls in printed casting, wardrobe, and scene references now take shape the same way in Higgsfield Canvas. In Big Purple’s AI films, image and video generation take the place of the physical shoot, while the same creative decisions get made at every stage. Revisions changed character too: AI expanded what could be revised so much that Big Purple built its positioning around it, working under the slogan “Revision-Proof AI Films.”

“We work with clients such as banks, where every detail of how the brand is represented matters. Even a background extra wearing a T-shirt in a competing bank’s colours can require a revision. The biggest advantage of working with Big Purple / Dreaming Broccoli AI Studio is their ability to make such precise adjustments while preserving the performances, emotion and atmosphere we have already approved. Being able to get revisions back quickly, without having to start an entire scene over for a small change, makes the process much smoother for both the agency and the client. I don’t know exactly how they achieve this technically, but from our perspective, the result is clear: it was a pleasure to create AI films together that feel emotionally authentic and can be revised quickly to meet our needs.”

The products

Big Purple uses Higgsfield Canvas to organise casting, wardrobe, and scene references for pre-production. Image and video generation tools produce material for its AI films, while the platform’s filing and naming features help the team keep outputs organised.

The result

The anniversary film came in at 10–12 days, including brand and agency approvals and revisions, against a roughly two-month traditional estimate. The studio puts the saving at approximately 80% of the time.

Across its AI productions, Big Purple reports significantly lower overall costs because these productions require less transport, catering, and other on-set logistics. Creative work, experimentation, and iteration remain part of the budget. Shorter timelines also give the team more capacity to pursue new clients and manage projects simultaneously.

Big Purple has launched Dreaming Broccoli, a dedicated AI studio under its umbrella. The name came from Higgsfield: “Dreaming Broccoli” was the handle automatically assigned to the studio’s account, and the team liked it enough to name the business after it.

“To me, Higgsfield is like the fastest-learning production manager in the world. Our filmmaking knowledge has not changed; the speed and possibilities for putting it into practice have. We used to pin casting, wardrobe, and scene references to the studio walls. Today, we do that same creative preparation in Higgsfield Canvas”
