Google’s new version of its video model generates clips with native audio and can extend an existing video.
It works from text, images, and video; references keep characters and objects consistent, per Google, and a reference video’s audio is ignored.
- Output: 3 to 15 seconds per generation, at 360p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K.
- References: up to 6 images and up to 3 short videos, used for appearance only.
- Frames: a required start frame and an optional end frame.
- Extend: continues a video from its end, 3 to 10 seconds per step, up to a total of 30 seconds.
To get started: Video → Gemini Omni Flash 1.2 → choose to generate with References, Frames, or Extend.
