Higgsfield just launched Unlimited Seedance. It runs 11 days total. Alongside it, a separate promo opened up: free generations on Seedance 2.0 at 4K. This one is open to every user, regardless of plan. Here's how the 11-day structure works, what the free tier includes, and how to get either one.
Free Seedance 2.0 4K Generations
Here's what applies:
Every plan, including free, can generate on Seedance 2.0 at 4K, up to 10 seconds per clip, at no cost
Generation runs at 1 concurrent clip at a time
Free-plan users without a card need to add one for verification, nothing gets charged
Free generation only works through a dedicated page, not through the regular generation interface elsewhere on the platform, you can find it here. Trying to generate at 4K on Seedance 2.0 anywhere else still pulls from your regular credit balance.
One thing worth knowing before you generate: everything made on this page is visible to other users for the length of the promo. You'll see a quick confirmation before your first generation, and from there it works a bit like a shared gallery that everyone using the free tier contributes to.
Unlimited Seedance on Plans: The 11-Day Structure
The plan-based version of this offer changed shape from the last time it ran. It's now 11 days total, split as 4 days plus 7 days rather than the previous even split.
Days 1-4: Unlimited Seedance 2.0 at 4K. Four days of unlimited generation on the current flagship model at 4K, shorter than the previous first week, but enough runway for real production work.
Days 5-11: Switch to any other Seedance model. An extra 7 days of unlimited access opens up on whichever Seedance model you pick, including the newly arriving Seedance 2.5. This is the stretch that carries you into whatever comes next, rather than keeping you locked to 2.0 the whole time.
First 4 days, Seedance 2.0:
Resolution | Plus monthly | Other plans |
|---|---|---|
720p | 15 sec | 15 sec |
1080p | 8 sec | 15 sec |
4K | Not available | 8 sec |
Following 7 days, after the switch:
Model | Available plans |
|---|---|
Seedance 2.5 | Plus monthly, Max/Ultra monthly, Pro/Plus annual, Max/Ultra annual |
Seedance 2.0 Mini | Plus monthly, Max/Ultra monthly, Pro/Plus annual, Max/Ultra annual |
Seedance 2.0 Fast | Plus monthly, Max/Ultra monthly, Pro/Plus annual, Max/Ultra annual |
Resolution and duration parameters for the second week: to be determined.
Plus monthly remains the one tier that skips 4K entirely during the first stretch, capping instead at 1080p for 8 seconds or 720p for 15 seconds. Every plan above Plus monthly gets 4K at 8 seconds from day one without needing to unlock anything extra.
Getting Access if You're Already on a Plan
Upgrading is the default route into the full 11-day structure, open to essentially everyone currently on a paid plan. The one exception: anyone already on the maximum adjustable tier of Ultra, the maximum adjustable tier of Max, or on a Team plan has no higher tier left to upgrade into, but can pick up the same access through the Unlimited Models Marketplace instead.
For that specific group, the Unlimited Models Marketplace offers a direct purchase instead, without requiring an upgrade that isn't available to begin with. This keeps the offer accessible even to users already at the top of their respective plan ladder, just through a different entry point than everyone else uses, rather than leaving that group with no way in at all.
How to Actually Get Started
Step 1: Figure out which offer fits what you're doing. Just want to try 4K Seedance out? The free page is the easy way in. Planning to actually produce something over the next week and a half, on any Seedance model, including new releases like Seedance 2.5? The 11-day structure is probably the better fit.
Step 2: Head to the Free Seedance 2.0 4K page
Step 3: For the 11-day structure, the deeper unlimited option beyond what the free page offers, an upgrade will usually get you there. If you're already at the top of your plan, Ultra, Max, or Team, the Unlimited Models Marketplace is there as another way in.
Step 4: Spend the first 4 days on Seedance 2.0 at 4K.
Step 5: From day 5, you can switch to any other Seedance model for the rest of the 7 days, Seedance 2.5 included once it's live.
Seedance 2.5 Is Coming Soon
Seedance 2.5, ByteDance's next flagship video model, is headed to Higgsfield. The upgrade list is substantial, covering resolution, consistency, and how much control you get over a shot after it's generated. Here's what's actually changing:
Native 4K output, up from the previous version's ceiling
Clips running up to thirty seconds in a single generation
Up to 50 multimodal references at once, keeping a face, a product, or a location locked in place across the entire shot rather than drifting partway through
Prompt adherence up 20% from the previous version, so what you write is closer to what comes out
A new region-edit feature, point at the part of the frame that needs fixing, describe the change, and only that section gets repainted instead of forcing a full regeneration
Video and audio generate together in a single pass, so footsteps, engine noise, and score land in sync with the picture rather than feeling stitched on afterward
