How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Updated

Upgrades take effect immediately: you pay a prorated amount and your billing date resets. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current plan and credits until then. Both are done from the Pricing page at higgsfield.ai/pricing, and the downgrade option is in the detailed comparison section, not on the main plan cards.

How do I upgrade?

  1. Go to higgsfield.ai/pricing.

  2. Select your target plan.

  3. Confirm payment in the window that opens. It shows the exact prorated charge before you pay.

The upgrade activates instantly and your billing date resets to that moment. Promo credits and Credit Pack credits aren't affected.

How is the prorated charge calculated?

When you upgrade, Higgsfield subtracts the unused value of your current plan from the price of the new one, so you pay only the difference. This includes your unused credits, plus any unused months on annual plans. The exact amount is always shown in the payment window before you confirm.

How do I downgrade?

  1. Go to higgsfield.ai/pricing.

  2. Scroll past the main plan cards to the detailed comparison section.

  3. Select Downgrade.

The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Until then you keep full access to your current plan and its credits. At the next billing date, credits reset to the new plan's allowance. Credit Packs and promo credits are not affected.

Got any questions left?

No. Your unused credits are calculated at their prorated value and deducted from the new plan price. Promo credits and Credit Packs are not affected.

If you upgrade mid-term and haven't used any credits from the new plan, you can request a refund of the upgrade cost within 7 days of upgrading. This covers the extra amount you paid to upgrade, not your original subscription. See How do I request a refund?

They're not affected. Their 90-day validity continues unchanged, and your Auto-Refill settings carry over to the new plan.

Switching from annual to monthly isn't available: the annual plan runs until the end of its paid year, and the remaining period isn't refunded. If you purchased within the last 7 days and haven't used credits, see How do I request a refund?
