Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Updated

You can switch from monthly to annual billing at any time: the switch takes effect immediately, resets your billing date, and applies a prorated charge. Switching from annual back to monthly is not available: an annual plan runs until the end of its paid year. If you don't want it to continue, cancel auto-renewal and choose a monthly plan after the current period ends.

How do I switch from monthly to annual?

  1. Go to higgsfield.ai/pricing.

  2. Switch the billing toggle from Monthly to Annual.

  3. Select Change Commitment on your plan.

The switch takes effect immediately. Your billing date resets to the day you switch, and you're charged a prorated amount for the new annual plan.

Can I switch from annual to monthly?

No. Annual plans can't be switched to monthly billing, on any plan tier. Your annual plan stays active until the end of the paid year.

If you don't want the plan to renew for another year, cancel auto-renewal: you keep full access until the end of the current period, and after that you can subscribe to a monthly plan. See How do I cancel my subscription?

What happens to my credits when I switch to annual?

Your billing date resets to the day you switch, and subscription credits reset at that moment to the annual plan's allowance. From then on, credits reset every 30 days. Credit Packs and promo credits are not affected.

Can I get a refund for unused annual months instead?

Only within the standard refund window, and refunds are all-or-nothing: outside it, the plan stays active until the end of the paid year, unless the law in your jurisdiction says otherwise. See Can I get a partial refund for unused annual time?

Got any questions left?

No fee. You're charged a prorated amount for the annual plan, with the unused value of your monthly plan deducted, and the exact amount is shown before you confirm.

No. Once on annual billing, the plan runs until the end of the paid year. Cancel auto-renewal to switch to a monthly plan after the year ends.

Yes. The billing date resets to the day you switch, and subscription credits reset at that moment. On annual billing, credits then reset every 30 days.
