Edit a video

The Onboarding demo already contains a rendered video. Inspect the clip before choosing what to do next — the tool comes last, not first.

Highlight the clip

1 · Find the rendered clip

Highlight the finished clip — the tile with a play control. Don't open it yet: first decide whether it is usable, locally flawed, or fundamentally wrong.

2 · Open the ⋯ menu

On the clip's tile, open ⋯. Use first frame or last frame to continue when the clip works and you need the next beat; regenerate only when the motion is fundamentally wrong, after fixing the input that caused the miss.

3 · Open the clip

Now open the clip. Its preview opens on the info panel: the prompt that made it, its details and settings, and the action buttons for this exact result. Read what produced the clip before you decide to change it.

4 · Use Edit Video for a contained fix

With the clip still open, switch to the Tools column and find Edit Video. Use it for a contained defect in an otherwise approved clip; it can't rescue a bad action, composition, identity, or motion plan — that call is a regenerate.

Name the path before the tool

Use the rendered video for three decisions. For a matching next shot, point to the ⋯ menu. For a contained correction, open the video. For fundamentally wrong motion, point back to the generation inputs. You pass when you can choose all three paths before clicking.

That closes the production loop: generate → evaluate → edit or regenerate. Next is the final exam, where you make the five decisions that connect the entire course.
