How do projects work in Higgsfield Community?

Higgsfield4 min

Higgsfield Community is built on open projects: a published project carries the result, the project brief, the folders, and the models behind it, and you choose whether the prompts are visible. Browse the Projects and Shots feeds, recreate the work you like, and publish your own in four steps. Verified projects earn rating points, and a published project can apply for Higgsfield Grants.

What can I find in Community?

The Community page has four tabs:

  • Discovery is the front page: Higgsfield Selected projects, featured creators, the Higgsfield Grants banner, and selections of Open Projects and Shots, including Global Film Festival entries and Higgsfield Originals, short films by Higgsfield Studio.
  • Projects is the full feed of Open Projects, with search, sorting, and a filter for contest projects, non-contest projects, and your favorites. Contest entries carry a ribbon on the project card.
  • Shots is the feed of single published generations, images and videos, with search and a filter for images, videos, and your favorites. Open a Shot to see the prompt, model, and settings behind it, and recreate it.
  • Creators collects the creators the Higgsfield team highlights, with their rating and specialty.

What's inside an Open Project?

A project page shows the work and how it was made:

  • The result with its description and the creator's profile.
  • Project info: views, the number of generations, credits spent (when the creator shares them), and the creation date.
  • Stack: which tools and models powered the project, with the share of each one.
  • Project brief: the context, narrative, visuals, and production notes the creator filled in.
  • Folders and assets: the generations inside the project, organized the way the creator keeps them.
  • Prompts: if the creator published the project with prompts, every asset opens with the prompt behind it; otherwise the prompts stay private.

You can like a project, comment on it, and share it.

How do I publish an Open Project?

Projects you create in the studio start as private. Publishing starts from the Publish button on your profile or from the project itself, and the Publish project window has four steps:

  1. Details: a title, a description, the public link in the form higgsfield.ai/@username/projects/project-name, co-authors, and tags.
  2. Assets: how the project opens. Feature places one video or image at the top, best for a finished film, trailer, or single artwork. Series shows episodes in order, and you can add more over time. Carousel is a set of stills and clips viewers swipe through. You can change this later with an update.
  3. Cover: optional. Without a cover, the project card uses your first asset.
  4. Access: With prompts or Prompts hidden.
Check the result with Open preview, then select Publish. Your Open Project appears in Community and in the Projects tab on your profile.
Publishing your first Open Project earns you rating points and an achievement; see How do rating and achievements work?

What do viewers see: With prompts or Prompts hidden?

Both options publish a full Open Project: the final video, the project brief, and all the folders stay browsable either way. The difference is the prompts.

  • With prompts opens every asset with the prompt behind it, so people can explore the project, see how every shot was made, and recreate the generations they like.
  • Prompts hidden keeps the result, the brief, and the folders visible while the prompts stay private: people can watch and browse everything, and how you made it stays yours. Recreate isn’t available, since it relies on the prompts.

You choose the option at the Access step of publishing.

Who can see my published work?

Everything you create starts private: your drafts, unpublished projects, and generations are visible only to you. Publishing a work makes it visible to anyone browsing Community or your profile, even without a Higgsfield account. If you change your mind, unpublish the work: it disappears from Community and from your profile.

How does project verification work?

Verification is a manual review of your Open Project by the Higgsfield team. To qualify, your project needs at least 30 likes and 30 generations inside it. You don't need to apply: once a project reaches these numbers, it goes to review automatically. Each approved project earns you rating points and an achievement; see How do rating and achievements work?
