This version moves more slowly and ends as the leader rises. The setup is present, but the final dramatic beat is missing.

Check three things at every reverse shot

First, the eyeline should preserve who is facing whom. Second, the candlelight should keep a plausible direction and flicker. Third, each reaction should develop the argument instead of resetting the actor to a neutral expression.

Reviewing those elements separately helps you explain whether a problem comes from performance, screen direction, lighting, or the timing of the edit.
