Cutting scene two onto scene one only works if the handoff is invisible. The presenter attaches the last frame of scene one — Santiago's eyes closed — as the opening reference for scene two, so the new shot literally starts from that frozen position. That's the match cut: same pose, same light, same instant, just a new camera setup taking over. Run it at 4K too, or the flares and fog you're about to ask for won't survive to the final render — they get smoothed out at lower resolution before they ever show up on screen.
The first pass back reads flat: an empty stadium, flat contre-jour light, and a one-handed ball-drop that looks mechanical rather than weighted. Naming the fix in plain language — add optical flares and fog for the vibe, add handheld camera movement — is enough for Claude to fold into the full six-shot prompt: anamorphic streaks and soft blooms off the floodlights, a low drifting fog for volumetric depth, and a shoulder-mounted 1–2cm tremor with the operator's own breath and weight-shift baked into every take except the long-lens broadcast shot. Handheld isn't randomness — it's a specific failure mode you're avoiding (locked-off shots read like a game engine) paired with a specific fix (organic tremor plus the small reframes a real camera operator makes while breathing).
Not every regeneration lands clean. One take breaks on the keeper's jump and cuts off early; a wide shot loses the players mid-frame entirely. Both get discarded on sight — no fixing a broken physics take, just re-roll. Two more takes come back usable for different reasons: one nails the ball placement and gets kept as a backup, another nails the goalkeeper's warm-up beat and gets grabbed for its frame. Judging takes this way — by which specific beat each one gets right, not "good" vs "bad" — is what lets you recombine partial wins instead of re-rolling the whole six-shot sequence from scratch.
