Upscaling Old Footage

The last trick in the timeline workflow handles a much simpler problem: footage that just doesn't hold up on quality. Say your clip was shot on an old phone.

For this one there's no prompt to write at all. Select the clip and click the Upscale button in the Quixel plugin panel. Unlike the earlier edits, this one skips the character sheet, reference frame, and any prompt entirely.

That closes out the full set of edits shown on the timeline: removing an object, adding a new element, changing an outfit, swapping a background, building a transition, generating multiple camera angles, reframing for different aspect ratios, and now upscaling old footage — all done directly in Premiere without leaving the timeline.
