Building a Transition

Once your clip looks right, the next problem is how to get into it. Cutting straight from one shot to the next can feel abrupt, so this time Adil builds the cut itself with AI instead of editing around it.

Inside the Quixel plugin he switches to Video Generation — a different mode from the Edit Video and Draw to Video tools used earlier. Instead of picking a single clip to modify, this mode takes two: he attaches a start frame and an end frame, presumably the last moment of the outgoing shot and the first moment of the incoming one.

For the prompt, he keeps it short, just describing the kind of transition he wants and hits Generate. The plugin fills in everything between those two frames, inventing the motion that bridges one shot into the next.

Adil's own reaction says it all: "Watch this. Sick, right?"
