The Real-or-AI Challenge
The Real-or-AI Challenge

Adil opens with a quick guessing game, cutting between clips and asking the same question each time: real or AI?
- A car — is it AI? Yes.
- A house behind it — real or AI? Real.
- Another car — real, but the color flips from red to white between cuts.
- A trashcan — real, but the background behind it isn't.
The point of the game: by the end of it you genuinely can't tell which half of each shot is footage he filmed and which half an AI model repainted — and he says as much, calling out that the craziest part is that all of it happened right on his timeline, not in some separate render pipeline.
From there he introduces himself — "Hi, I'm Adil" — and frames the rest of the video: everyone's seen AI video generation from a text prompt, but almost no one shows the other half of the workflow — what to do with footage you already shot. That's the video's actual subject: editing existing footage directly on your timeline inside Premiere, using the newest Quixel plugin.
He previews that the last technique in the video is his favorite, then cuts straight into the walkthrough, starting with getting the plugin installed and connected.
