Add a creature with a reference image

Sometimes you do not want to swap the world — you want to add something to it. Here the background stays your real rooftop and giant lizards climb the tower behind you. Two things make it work: a reference image, and a camera move you never filmed.

Show the AI, don't just describe it

When you already know exactly what you want, it is better to show than to tell. The lizard was designed first in GPT Image 2.0 and handed in as a reference, so Seedance nails the exact look — Appearance, scale-texture and color reference only — instead of guessing from words. Feed a still for anything specific; describe from scratch only when you do not care about the precise design.

Ask for a camera move you never shot

You are not stuck with the framing you filmed. This request builds in a reveal:

Big lizards — @LIZARD — climbing up the side of a building. Keep my lip-sync exactly as is. Start tight on a telephoto shot of them climbing, then zoom out to my original framing as I start talking — and the lizards keep climbing behind me.

Seedance opens on a tight telephoto of the swarm, then snaps back to your real composition and hands you your preserved take, lip-sync intact.

Anchored, not pasted

Because it is working off your real footage, the creatures stay anchored — claws hooking ledges, climbing with the building as your handheld push-in continues, real contact shadows on the facade. That is how you add a subject and a move in one generation.

One generation, two shots: the added telephoto opener and your original wide both come out of a single prompt.
