We follow Mateo, a young creator who wins the jackpot in a generative AI competition—a scenario mirroring reality. However, the story fast-forwards one year to a near-future where the environmental impact of hyper-technological consumption has altered the value of everything. In a world where water is scarce, $150,000 USD is no longer a fortune; it’s merely the price of survival for a single plastic bottle. The film juxtaposes the euphoria of digital success with the harshness of physical scarcity, questioning what we truly value. It is not a critique of technology, but a reflection on the balance between our digital ambitions and our physical needs.
