Who can enter?

Professional teams anywhere in the world, except where prohibited by law or in sanctioned territories. Every member must be 18 or older and actively employed by or contracted to an agency, brand or production company. Three team types are eligible:

  • Agency team — a creative or production agency entering on behalf of a brand client.
  • Brand in-house team — an internal marketing or creative team entering for their own brand.
  • Combined pod — client, agency and production entering together on behalf of a brand.

Employees of Higgsfield and Adweek, their immediate family and household members can't enter.

What exactly are we making?

A video advertisement 30 to 60 seconds long, made for a real brand, against your team's own creative brief and direction. There's no supplied product, no set brief and no asset pack — the brand and the idea are yours.

What does "at least 51%" actually mean?

At least 51% of the running time has to feature AI-generated visuals. The remaining balance can be traditionally produced live-action footage — so up to 49% of a 60-second spot can be shot conventionally.

What has to be made on Higgsfield, and what doesn't?

All AI-generated video, image and voice content must be created inside the Higgsfield platform. Submissions can't include AI-generated video, image or voice made with models or tools outside the Higgsfield ecosystem.

Licensed music and sound effects can come from anywhere, and so can your live-action footage.

Can we use our client's brand assets?

Yes — you're entering on behalf of a real brand, so its assets belong in the work. Your team is responsible for clearing everything in the ad: brand assets, music, talent releases and any third-party intellectual property.

Entries can be disqualified for unlicensed third-party brands, protected characters, unlicensed music, profanity or inappropriate content.

How many entries can a team submit?

One. Additional entries from the same team are disqualified. Late, lost or incomplete entries aren't considered, so don't leave it to the last hour of August 21.

How is the work judged?

A panel selected by Higgsfield scores every eligible entry across four criteria, weighted equally at 25%:

  • Creative idea — a fresh, memorable thought that stands out in the brand's category.
  • Brand storytelling & effectiveness — does it do the job of an ad, scored against your own stated brief.
  • Cinematic craft — direction and edit: camera, composition, blocking, transitions, pacing, sound.
  • Realism, consistency & VFX — performance that doesn't read as AI, coherent worlds, broadcast-ready polish.

All judging decisions are final.

When do we hear anything?

Entries close August 21 at 11:59 PM ET. Finalists are announced on or around September 9, on higgsfield.com and by email to the team's designated contact.

Finalists have seven days from that notification to claim their place, so keep an eye on the inbox you registered with.

What do finalists and winners get?

Finalists are invited to Brandweek 2026 in Atlanta, September 15–17, with pre-approved travel expenses reimbursed within 30 days.

  • 1st place — $50,000 in Higgsfield platform credits, plus a trip for up to three team members (economy airfare and hotel, up to four nights).
  • 2nd place — $25,000 in credits, plus the trip for up to three.
  • 3rd place — $10,000 in credits, plus the trip for up to three.

Prizes are paid in platform credits rather than cash. Credits follow Higgsfield's standard terms and expire after 12 months; they're non-transferable, and winners are responsible for any taxes due.

Who runs the contest?

Higgsfield Inc. is the sponsor, host and operator. Adweek is the exclusive media and promotional partner and is not a co-sponsor. The contest is governed by the laws of the State of California and by Higgsfield's Terms of Service.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
