How do projects work in Higgsfield Community?

Higgsfield3 min

Higgsfield Community is built on open projects: almost everything you see can be opened to show how it was made. Browse Projects, Shots, and Originals, open any of them to see the models, prompts, and assets behind the result, and publish your own work the same way. Verified projects also earn you rating points.

What can I find in Community?

The Community page has four tabs:

  • Explore is the overview of everything in Community: featured contests, projects by the community, Shots, and Originals. From there, you can move into any section.
  • Projects are open-sourced projects by creators: the result together with the prompts, settings, and assets behind it, which you can recreate.
  • Shots are single published generations. Open a Shot to see the prompt, model, and settings behind it, and recreate it.
  • Originals are short films by Higgsfield Studio, also open-sourced.

What's inside an Open Project?

A project page shows the work and how it was made:

  • The result with its description and the creator's profile.
  • Project info: views, the number of generations, credits spent (when the creator shares them), and the creation date.
  • Stack: which tools and models powered the project, with the share of each one.
  • Project brief: the context, narrative, visuals, and production notes the creator filled in.
  • Folders and assets: the generations inside the project, organized the way the creator keeps them.

You can like a project, comment on it, and share it.

How do I publish an Open Project?

Projects you create in the studio start as private. To share one:

  1. Open your project.
  2. Select Publish.
  3. Confirm, and your Open Project appears in Community and in the Projects tab on your profile.

Publishing your first Open Project earns you rating points and an achievement; see How do rating and achievements work?

Who can see my published work?

Everything you create starts private: your drafts, unpublished projects, and generations are visible only to you. Publishing a work makes it visible to anyone browsing Community or your profile, even without a Higgsfield account. If you change your mind, unpublish the work: it disappears from Community and from your profile.

How does project verification work?

Verification is a manual review of your Open Project by the Higgsfield team. To qualify, your project needs at least 30 likes and 30 generations inside it, and its final result must be a video. You don't need to apply: once a project reaches these numbers, it goes to review automatically. Each approved project earns you rating points and an achievement; see How do rating and achievements work?

Got any questions left?

A Shot is a single published generation: you see the result and the model behind it. An Open Project shares the whole pipeline: prompts, settings, assets, and the project brief.

Open Projects exist for that: open one to see the prompts, settings, and assets, and recreate the generations you like. The same goes for Shots: open a Shot and recreate it with the same model.

Publishing your first Open Project earns rating points, and every verified project earns more. The amounts are in How do rating and achievements work?

You don't need to. Projects that reach 30 likes and 30 generations are sent for review automatically; there's no application form or button.

It disappears from Community and from your profile. Your generations stay in your private Assets library, and you can publish the work again later.
