A time assassin is dispatched to ancient Rome with one mission: rewrite history. Erase a single general. Change the future. He steps through the portal into a dying empire — steel clashes, torches burn, and the Praetorian Guard closes in. He fights like a man who believes destiny can be broken. Bloodied but relentless, he reaches his target. The Roman general removes his helmet. It’s his own face. CHRONO is not about saving the world. It’s about confronting it — and yourself. The assassin and the general are the same man, divided by time and belief. One still thinks the past can be fixed. The other has already learned it cannot. “Don’t try to change the past,” the general whispers, pulling off the assassin’s mask. “Let go.” What follows isn’t revelation. It’s resistance. Steel meets steel. Fist meets bone. Every strike is self-inflicted. Every wound already written. The cycle doesn’t end with understanding. It ends with violence. And somewhere, in the future, another version steps into the portal — convinced this time will be different. But the past doesn’t change. You do.
