When the floodwaters rose and the world looked away, the humanitarian convoys kept driving. Captain Amara Osei leads a three-truck UN convoy through a devastated city—racing against time to deliver life-saving medical supplies to a refugee camp where children are dying. The road is treacherous. The waters are rising. And they're not alone. Militia forces emerge from the ruins, hunting the convoy through flooded streets. What follows is a desperate 80-kilometer gauntlet of gunfire, collapsing infrastructure, and impossible choices. Every second counts. Every life matters. Through crumbling overpasses and debris-choked waters, through ambush and chaos, one question drives them forward: How far would you go to save lives you'll never know? In 2025, when humanitarian aid funding was cut by 83%, an estimated 1.8 million additional deaths were projected—including 700,000 children under five. The convoys kept driving anyway. This is their story.
