Alone

“ALONE” was written 3 years ago, without knowing where it would lead. Healing is a slow process, which takes shape over time. This story doesn’t seem to have a happy ending, but in reality it will, it’s already written. I know it will be a positive one. It tells the story of a person alone in a city of millions. Noise everywhere, inside that muffled silence that feels like water in your ears. Water is anxiety rising like sea level, pressure on the chest, the feeling of drowning in everyday life, like in a lucid dream. After watching the video, many people wrote to me. Because they recognized themselves in it. Because they’ve felt that same quiet suffocation — being lost in the middle of a chaos. Maybe that’s what this story is for: to remind us that we’re not alone, even when we feel submerged. Sometimes the greatest action is don’t give in to the storm and stay afloat.
