ETINOSA – Before the War (Part I) Before the clash of steel. Before the dust of battle rose. There was silence — and the weight of destiny. https://higgsfield.ai/contests/make-your-action-scene/submissions/a9789049-0ce2-4eba-ac52-3c9a2c17b1f4?utm_source=contest_submission_page_copy_link&utm_medium=share&utm_content=contest_submission that there is the part 2 submitted here also on this contest do well to watch and like Drawn from Edo oral tradition, Etinosa reimagines the legend of a warrior–blacksmith said to have stood as guardian of the ancient Benin Kingdom. In this first chapter, we enter the final hours before invasion — where tension thickens, alliances tremble, and one man prepares to become more than myth. This film explores the quiet intensity that precedes history — the forge before the flame, the breath before the battle cry. Part I sets the stage. Part II reveals the storm. #HiggsfieldAction Director’s Statement Etinosa is my attempt to translate oral tradition into cinematic form. Inspired by Edo folklore and the architectural and military legacy of the Benin Kingdom, this film reimagines the legend of a warrior–blacksmith who stood as both craftsman and protector. Rather than focusing solely on spectacle, I was drawn to the tension before conflict — the psychological weight carried by those who must defend their people. Through disciplined pacing, structured sound design, and mythic visual language, I aimed to portray Etinosa not just as a fighter, but as a symbol of resilience and guardianship. This project is both a tribute to cultural heritage and an exploration of how legend can be reborn through modern storytelling tools.
