NO SAFE EXIT is a psychological short set in contemporary Toronto that follows Claire, a corporate risk analyst struggling to maintain the appearance of normalcy after a traumatic loss. As she moves through an ordinary morning — commute, office routines, small interactions — cracks begin to show beneath the surface. A series of subtle triggers, institutional pressures, and personal guilt culminate in a sudden emotional collapse inside her workplace. What begins as a quiet corporate day spirals into chaos, forcing Claire to confront the reality she’s been trying to outrun.
