No Safe Exit

NO SAFE EXIT is a psychological short set in contemporary Toronto that follows Claire, a corporate risk analyst struggling to maintain the appearance of normalcy after a traumatic loss. As she moves through an ordinary morning — commute, office routines, small interactions — cracks begin to show beneath the surface. A series of subtle triggers, institutional pressures, and personal guilt culminate in a sudden emotional collapse inside her workplace. What begins as a quiet corporate day spirals into chaos, forcing Claire to confront the reality she’s been trying to outrun. Blending grounded realism with moments of psychological tension, the film explores themes of grief, containment, and the fragile systems people build to keep themselves functioning — until they don’t.
