To Hunt A God

127

To hunt a God is to hunt yourself. Stand tall when you are wrong, and kneel when you are right. Smile back at unknown horrors. Rage against reason. Step forward—dive willingly beneath the crushing depths of cold mysteries and random, terrible fates, veiled in witheld solace, uttered in destiny’s name. For this is how man earns the true blessing of his faith: from the God now made dead— the one he has just slain.
