Men In The Sun

The narrative follows three Palestinian refugees—Abu Qais, Assad, and Marwan—as they attempt to cross the border from Iraq into Kuwait hidden inside the dark, sweltering tank of a water truck driven by the tragic figure, Abul Khaizuran. The water tank is not just a vehicle; it is a metallic coffin. It represents the suffocating weight of being trapped by borders, bureaucracy, and a world that often treats refugees as "invisible" cargo. "Why didn't they knock?": This is the soul of the film. When Abul Khaizuran screams this at the end, it is a devastating critique of silence. It asks why those who suffer often go unheard and why the world remains indifferent until it is too late.
