This three-minute 3D animated short follows siblings Ethan (14) and Lily (12) Carter, who discover a hidden time machine in their attic and are transported to ancient Egypt. Through their journey, they explore pyramid construction, Nile River life, hieroglyphics, marketplaces, and cultural festivals, guided by an Egyptian scribe. The narrative emphasizes the value of learning from history to better understand the present. The film follows a clear three-act structure: discovery, cultural immersion, and reflective return. Each scene serves a defined narrative purpose, maintaining coherent pacing while integrating educational content into an engaging adventure format. The fading photograph motif provides emotional tension and reinforces the theme of connection to home. Visually, the project is developed in a stylized cinematic 3D animation aesthetic. Character models remain consistent across varied environments, from the dim attic interior to expansive desert landscapes and lantern-lit interiors. Camera language includes wide establishing shots for scale, medium frames for character interaction, and controlled depth-of-field for focus. Lighting design shifts intentionally between environments, supported by balanced color grading to maintain tonal cohesion. AI generation tools were used systematically to create character assets, historical environments, and scene compositions. Asset consistency, lighting alignment, and stylistic coherence were prioritized to ensure continuity across sequences. The technology was applied purposefully within a structured production workflow rather than as a novelty feature. The final result demonstrates controlled AI integration, cohesive storytelling, visual polish, and disciplined cinematic execution within a concise runtime.
