Sync Breach

What would you do if you thought you were the only hunter capable of bending time, only to realize your prey is hiding in the exact same seconds? "Sync Break" is a high-octane short film following an elite assassin who uses a 10-second time-rewind tech to eliminate a target, only to be forced into a deadly, time-bending tactical clash when they discover the target's bodyguard wields the exact same power. Our story begins in a bleak, rain-soaked cyberpunk metropolis bathed in neon lights. Our assassin—donning a sharp tailored suit and a high-tech helmet with a glowing red visor—executes what appears to be a flawless strike on the target's moving vehicle. But just as the assassin thinks the job is done, the screen violently tears with a digital glitch, and time flows backward. Thrust back into the middle of the battle, the assassin realizes the target's heavily armored bodyguard possesses the same time-rewind technology. The heart of the film is a spectacular tactical clash on the roof of the speeding car. Both fighters constantly rewind time by mere seconds to parry each other's lethal strikes, creating a visual feast of overlapping motion trails and glowing silhouettes. With one final, desperate move, the assassin defeats the bodyguard, but the strike completely depletes their time device's battery. The car halts in a dark alley, and the true target steps out. Suddenly, in the pitch-black shadows behind the target, dozens of red "time counters" ignite. Realizing they have just encountered a massive army capable of manipulating time, the assassin faces an impossible threat as the film cuts to black on a powerful cliffhanger.
