The Field

A DESIGN CHOICE: I chose the 9:16 format because narrowing the field of view perfectly suits my story. It amplifies the sense of claustrophobia and constant anxiety, making the viewer feel trapped in the tension with the characters. Higgsfield is an isolated rural village, seemingly perfect and frozen in time. A young researcher moves there to document its daily life, but small details begin to reveal a disturbing reality. Near the park, an elderly woman dressed in red collects rotten apples beside an inaccessible field. No one knows what it contains. No one has ever entered.
