This project draws inspiration from the mythology of Yara, a powerful water spirit deeply rooted in South American folklore. Her story represents the sacred connection between rivers, nature, and humanity across the Amazon. Yara’s legacy lives on not only in stories passed down through generations, but also in the names given to baby girls, symbolizing protection, beauty, and respect for nature. This project honors that heritage while helping raise awareness to protect the Amazon and its future.
