Summary : After the tragic death of their child, Elise and Noah retreat to a secluded house at the edge of a forest, desperate for a fresh start and a way to survive their grief. They tell themselves that distance will heal them, that silence, nature, and time will soften the unbearable weight of loss. But the forest answers Elise’s sorrow. A presence lingers in the trees. It watches her. It follows her. It wants her. What she encounters is not a malevolent force, nor a creature driven by hatred. It is something far more unsettling… something born from love and loss. An entity that does not wish to harm her… but to keep her. To comfort her. To stay with her forever.
