Beauty Subscription

In a world where perfection is a paid service, one man decides to cancel his subscription to the truth. This is the short solo creative project. In a flawlessly curated utopia, a man begins to realize that his "perfect" life is a digital veneer. When his ocular implants malfunction, the golden bright reality shatters, revealing a decayed, grey world of emaciated people who have lost the ability to see the truth. For the first time in 300 years, he decides to remove his contacts and face the void. But will the real world, where there is no place for humanity, drive him to madness? Beauty Subscription is more than just science fiction; it is a social commentary that forces us to ask: which world are we choosing to live in—the beautiful lie or the ugly truth? I pesonally acted every character, later mapping these human nuances onto AI-generated avatars to maintain emotional depth. I provided the live voice-over for the entire cast, utilizing AI to transform my voice into unique, distinct identities for each character. To create a unique atmosphere, the entire music and all sound effects were custom-engineered using AI specifically for this project.
