The First Race is a cinematic action sequence about the most competitive race in existence. Hundreds begin. Almost all fail. One continues. Set in an abstract, hostile universe, the film follows a relentless forward motion through chaos, collapse, and resistance—until everything narrows into stillness. There are no heroes, no dialogue, and no explanations. Only momentum. This short film explores competition, chance, and inevitability through metaphor rather than narrative. What starts as pure action gradually transforms into something quieter and more existential. The meaning is intentionally left for the viewer to discover.
