CARAVAGGIO | The Original Sin

"CARAVAGGIO | The Original Sin" is a visual journey through the Chiaroscuro of the human soul. Accompanied by an intense, stomping Dark Alternative Rock soundtrack, this project animates the dramatic tension found in Baroque art. The sequence begins with the divine light of Jesus' life and suffering, portraying the agony of the Passion and the miracle of Resurrection. Yet, the narrative sharply pivots from the divine to the human ego. As the music intensifies with heavy bass and gritty blues rock elements, the visuals shift to the grotesque reality of pain (The Toothpuller), fear (Medusa), and ultimately, vanity (Narcissus). The transition from the altruistic sacrifice of Christ to the self-absorbed gaze of Narcissus serves as a metaphor for "The Original Sin." It reflects the artist’s eternal struggle between reaching for the light and being consumed by his own darkness. This video transforms classic masterpieces into a modern, visceral experience of redemption and solitude.
