Mythical Creatures Kuyang from Indonesia

Kuyang is a mythical creature in Indonesian folklore, usually depicted as a woman's head with a body that flies at night. This creature is believed to seek human blood, especially that of pregnant women or babies, and often appears in dark and scary situations. In other regions, similar creatures are known by different names: Palasik in West Sumatra, Poppo in Sulawesi, Penanggal in Malaysia, and Krasue in Thailand.
