SIGNAL

In the terminal megacity of Veradax, a battle-scarred mercenary named Kael is hired to destroy a signal tower broadcasting an unauthorized transmission. He fights his way to the top — only to discover the signal isn't a weapon. It's a distress call broadcast by a seven-year-old girl trapped alone in the basement. With his employer's kill-switch active in his neck and six kill-drones closing in, Kael faces a single choice: complete the mission and survive, or save the child and become the hunted. He saves her. Not because she's innocent. Because her frequency matches a memory he buried — his own daughter's voice on the day he lost her. "The mission was to silence the signal. He didn't know the signal was a child."
