WHISPER OF THE FOREST

WHISPER OF THE FOREST is a short cinematic journey set deep in the Congo rainforest where the trees are more than scenery: they are memory, shelter, and sacred witness. When violence tears through a village, a child’s survival becomes a mirror of Congo’s truth: conflict that burns homes, women’s bodies treated as battlegrounds, and children forced to grow up too fast. But the forest answers with something stronger than fear **protection, resilience, and a path forward**. This film is a call for **women’s rights** (ending violence against women), **children’s protection**, and **peace** rooted in justice. It also honors the Congo rainforest the “lungs” of our region reminding us that healing includes the earth: **plant a tree, defend the forest, defend life**. Because peace is not silence. Peace is safety. Peace is dignity. Peace is every child running free.
