Next Floor

My short-film, Next Floor, is a reinterpretation of the eponymous one by Denis Villeneuve and Phoebe Greenberg. My goal was to reinterpret the short film by using only images and videos generated by artificial intelligence, moving away from the original location and cast. This work once again demonstrated the current limitations of this technology, but also its potential, which we can only begin to scratch the surface of. Almost 1,000 images and videos were generated, and motion control was used in some sequences to faithfully reproduce the actors' expressions from self-tapes that I recorded. The short film took three weeks and a total of about 120 hours to complete.
