EMBERFALL

Emberfall is the first chapter of a story told in a dark post-apocalyptic retrofuturist style. The narrative begins in the city of Emberfall, where a young engineer completes his hand-built service robot, ELL-1, by installing the final missing component — a strange crystal known as the “Drakka Soul.” At the same time, the viewer is introduced to the world beyond his workshop: the surroundings of Emberfall, starting with the city market. Along the way, you’ll meet the city’s unusual inhabitants, their rules and routines — and a mysterious woman who, for reasons not yet revealed, is fleeing from aggressive war robots.
