After a chain of devastating traumas fractures his mind, a man begins slipping between two parallel realities: in one, he dies; in the other, he survives. Each shift feels equally real, equally irreversible. As he struggles to understand which version of his life is true, he discovers that his wife exists on the same fragile edge—caught between life and death, her fate mirroring his own fractured existence. Haunted by visions of both outcomes, he must confront the question that defines his unraveling: in which reality does he truly belong—and can he choose it? “Y” is a psychological short film about grief, perception, and the unbearable weight of alternate destinies, where love becomes the only constant across worlds that cannot coexist.
