The River Between Two Worlds Far away from maps, trade routes, and civilization, there existed a small island surrounded by endless ocean. No ships came. No outsiders visited. The island belonged to two tribes — divided not just by land, but by belief. A river ran through the center of the island. It was more than water. It was a boundary. On the eastern side lived the Onge tribe. On the western forests lived the Jangil tribe. Both tribes believed they were chosen. Both believed their way was superior.
