EXTRACTION is a short cinematic work that explores what happens when a system attempts to remove something that cannot be quantified, archived, or erased. In a sterile, automated environment, a woman is subjected to a memory extraction process designed to be neutral, efficient, and absolute. The system assumes compliance. It assumes access. It assumes that everything meaningful can be reduced to data. It is wrong. The film avoids dialogue and spectacle, focusing instead on stillness, restraint, and subtle physical cues. Resistance is not expressed through action, but through presence. The collapse of the system is not violent or heroic, it is quiet, procedural, and final. EXTRACTION is a meditation on identity, inherited weight, and the limits of technological authority. It asks a simple question: What happens when a system encounters something it was never designed to carry? The answer is not rebellion. It is failure.
