Antar

Antar, once the enemy of all humanity, lives as a hermit in the desert. After saving a gazelle from a great bird and collapsing from exhaustion, he dreams of the palace of Queen Gul-Nazar—the gazelle in human form. She grants him three supreme joys: revenge, power, and love. Antar asks only to die when these pleasures lose their meaning. In time, weary even of love, he is seized by the queen and kissed so fiercely that he dies.
