Psychologist
This film explores the psychotherapy process from two perspectives — the client and the psychologist. It shows how intense inner pressure, shame, and self-hatred can emerge during a session, and how these emotions are often connected to early childhood experiences and unmet needs. ⠀ The story follows a fictional client whose emotional breakdown reveals a deeper inner child longing for acceptance and forgiveness. In contrast, the psychologist remains a steady, silent presence — witnessing pain without judgment. ⠀ The psychologist character is inspired by a real therapist — my husband — whose professional experience and words helped shape the authenticity of the session. Together, we developed the dialogue and psychological dynamics of the client. ⠀ This film is about what therapy feels like from the inside: vulnerability, tension, and the possibility of understanding oneself.
