CHRONO
A time assassin is sent to ancient Rome to rewrite history. He fights through the Praetorian Guard, reaches his target — and discovers the general he came to kill is himself. CHRONO explores the futility of trying to change the past. The assassin and the general are the same person trapped in an endless loop: one fighting against fate, the other having long accepted it. "Don't try to change the past," the general whispers as he removes the assassin's mask. "Just let go." The cycle ends not with understanding, but with force — and begins again with another version stepping through the portal. I used my own face for both characters, making the identity twist literal — every punch landed, every blade raised, is directed at myself. The past doesn't change. You do.
