THALASSA

A short film set in a medieval peasant fishing village on the Aegean coast, 1000 AD — no dialogue, no sound effects, one Greek folk lament playing from the first frame to the last. When something ancient and vast rises from the harbour and destroys the village, everyone runs. One worn, unheroic knight walks the other way — not out of courage or faith, simply because turning away is something he cannot do.
