I put a piece of my soul into this film. (based on a true story of a daydreamer). I didn’t want to make a trailer because a trailer is just a promise. Instead, I chose to compress an entire life into a high-intensity short film. It’s the story of Edward—a man the "Company" treats like a program, but whose mind refuses to be caged. His only anchor is a stuffed toy, the last gift from his father. Dressed in a tiny tropical hat and island clothes, that toy is a colorful rebellion in a grey office. It is the Inner Child—the freedom and creativity that old-school corporations try to delete. While they demand compliance, Edward is elsewhere, living a thousand lives in the seconds between breaths. Created at Higgsfield AI Cinema Studio 2.0, I used a machine to prove we aren’t machines. I pushed the technology to find a heartbeat, capturing real tears and the raw energy of a daydream that won't be silenced. This is SUBLIMATION. It's for the ones wearing a tie, but whose souls are still wearing a sun hat.
