The Last Take
When I was a kid, my father showed me Jackie Chan films. I had never seen anything like it. He would get hit, fall, get up again — and smile. A year ago, my father passed away. Yesterday, I showed my 5-year-old son Shanghai Noon. He loved it. And for a moment… I felt my dad was there with us. This film is my tribute — to growing up, to mistakes, to consequences, and to becoming better than we were. Stunts fade. Consequences don’t.
